We all have things that inspire us and here are some of mine...

My Prompt Journal

I have always wanted to journal on a more consistent basis, but often had trouble sticking to it because some days I just didn't know what to write about so I'd find myself writing mundane things like what I ate for the day.  "Start Where You Are, A Journal for Self-Exploration" by Meera Lee Patel solves this problem for me.  This journal contains universal life lessons via a quote, paired with an exercise related to the quote.  The goal is to get to know yourself better.  Most days, the exercises take only 10-15 minutes, and I love to do them after meditating while I have a clear mind.

My Vision Board

This is something new that I did this year in order to help get clarity on my 2017 personal and professional goals.  My good friend, Vanessa Beggs, who is the owner of Hummingbird Mind, Body, Spirit Studio had a Vision Board Workshop in January to help get us thinking about our goals for 2017 and to give us a set-aside time to complete our boards.  Now, I don't consider myself an arts-and-crafts person, but I really enjoyed this!  And...I don't think my board looks too bad either:) I helped my nieces who are 16 & 13 make vision boards too and we all had such a fun time that we are planning to make it a yearly tradition!  If you are interested in learning more, check out my blog post here.

You (yes, you) inspire me every day!  My clients are the reason that I am able to do what I love.  I have met some amazing people through my business and I love learning their stories and capturing the important events and milestones in their lives.  My clients become my friends and I have the privilege of watching their families grow and change over the years.  I hope to be able to photograph their children as they graduate high school, get married, have children and then watch their families grow and change.  I learn something new from every person that I photograph and treat every session with passion and care.  Because of that, I love to spoil my clients and a huge part of my business is built around caring for my clients.
